So close, yet so annoying

I really hate it when an application claims to support Markdown but then implements their own specific version of Markdown that’s incompatible with others. After paying $10 for the app and then importing a year’s worth of Markdown notes, I discover that they’re basically all unreadable because it has arbitrarily inserted line breaks at the ends of lines (“normal” markdown requires an explicit two spaces at the ends of lines to force a line break).

Yes, it’s a small thing, but it’s not worth my time and energy to go through and re-format a few thousands notes just to make them match this application’s non-standard implementation.
